Online shopping is quite popular among internet-savvy younger generation. While the e-commerce industry has seen tremendous growth over the last few years, the sale of counterfeit products remains a huge problem for online shoppers. In its latest study to assess online shopping experiences and the volume of fake and counterfeit products, Velocity MR, a market research and analytics company, said that 1 out of 3 respondents received fakes/counterfeit products while shopping online at some point or the other in the past 6 months.
