81% of Indians knows when World’s AIDS Day is being commemorated

One of the incurable disease among many is AIDS. Known as a silent killer among many, AIDS has infected over 2 million people in India. Making India the world’s third-largest population suffering from it. Despite the outrageous number, the prevalence rate in India is much lower than in any other country. However, India’s progress towards awareness, education and the understanding of the disease is not much. World AIDS Day is dedicated to raising the awareness and education of the disease while recognizing it as a global health problem. It gives a great opportunity to unite people to fight against it.
