40% respondents believed true independence meant to move around safely

This day will always remind us of the sacrifices and struggles of the brave martyrs who fought for our freedom till the end. Independence Day holds a monumental value in an Indian’s life. It’s the day when we commemorate India’s freedom from the 200-year-old British government. The day when sovereign India’s first prime minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru unfolded the Tricolour Flag of the nation on the glorious Red Fort.

We often boast of our country’s achievements but fail to remember the pillars who helped us get to this day.
