40% of customers have faced unpleasant experiences ordering food online

We all love food especially when they are served at our doorsteps. Online food ordering business has been at its highest since its inception. Rapid digitization and growth in both the online buyer base and spending have helped this industry grow by billions in the market. Foodtech has now made its presence in over 500 cities and with consumer confidence growing, the market will evolve even more.

According to Velocity MR, the ones who spend more on the food online actually belong to a mid-aged group of respondents compared to the younger generation of 18-25-year-olds. This could be related to the fact that the older generation has more disposable income but the fact that food tech has influenced them to buy food online is something to consider.
